The film explores the toxic aspects of the theatre world through its main protagonist, Maja, a drama school student.
Even though acting is her passion, Maja does not believe she could make a successful career in the arts. In fact, she plans to study marketing and management after graduation.
As the press note for the film says, "everything changes when a new, charismatic director crosses her path."
Bojanowski, 31, is one of Poland’s most promising filmmakers. Loss of Balance, his feature-length debut, won four awards at last year’s Polish Film Festival in the Baltic city of Gdynia.
He also co-owns a film production company called Amondo Films.

In addition to producing feature films and documentaries at home and abroad, Amondo runs the smallest cinema in Warsaw—Kino Amondo.
